8-Day Serengeti Migration Safaris – Calving Season

Price starts from $4,490.67 pp.

Tour Overview

This 8-day Great Migration safari takes you deep into the western corridor of the world-famous Serengeti National Park. From May to July, this region becomes one of the most dramatic routes of the Great Migration, when thousands of wildebeest and zebras travel across the plains in search of fresh grazing land.

A major highlight of this safari is the Grumeti River crossing, where massive herds must pass through crocodile-infested waters. These crossings create some of the most intense wildlife moments in Africa. Guests enjoy daily guided game drives, offering incredible opportunities to witness predators such as lions, leopards, and hyenas following the migration.

Your safari is led by experienced guides who track the movement of the herds while sharing fascinating insights about wildlife behavior, ecosystems, and the seasonal patterns of the migration.

After each thrilling day, relax in luxury tented camps located along the migration route, where you’ll enjoy comfortable private tents, delicious meals, and spectacular views of the African wilderness. As night falls, fall asleep to the sounds of the bush under a sky full of stars.

In addition to the migration, the region is rich with wildlife including elephants, giraffes, antelopes, and over 500 bird species, making every game drive unique and exciting.
